Love the fit, the fabric, the FLAIR

I've been admiring Ray Darten pieces online for awhile now, so I knew I had to stop in at the Emeryville store the next time I was in the Bay Area. I'm so glad I did, because I found the very last Eniola jacket on the rack in a 1X. I wasn't sure if I would fit a L or 1X better, but you better believe I grabbed it (and several other pieces) to try on now that I had my chance in the store, rather than wondering what they'd look like by browsing online photos. As it turned out, I'm a 1X -- the L is a big too tight for comfort in the ribs and waist area for me (I'm a pretty proportionate size 12-14 in most clothes). I wore this piece to a casual holiday party as a jacket, unzipped, over a black tank top and leggings with red flats, so I was comfy, warm, and made a show-stopping entrance! LOVE. p.s. not that it matters, but I am Asian American and some people admiring the jacket asked if the print was Native Hawaiian or from some Asian country. I truly believe that *anyone* can wear these prints -- you just need to wear them with the confidence and respect they deserve.
